Wot you need is a custom straight through exhaust that your actually gain something from. Not just a bike can for pure noise

Actually.....(I hate to say this)..

If you replaced the rear silencer with a straight through non baffled bike can you would decrease the pressure in the exhaust by a teeny tiny amount and at the same time increase the noise by a huaaage amount....

VW didnt design the exhaust system like it is for entertainment!!!!

When i had a GTi i always thought the standard exhaust system was great.

If you want a good noise, leave the exhaust and get BMC 8)

For gains, get a 4 branch, that will give you better gains than a cat back system on the standard manifold

you'd probably actually loose power rather than gain it because of the lack of back pressure ...dont do it! its only 125bhp after all, if it were kicking out alot more then maybe it would be worthwhile
