Lol you nutter's

Quick one tim, In regards to the 6000k D2S bulbs, would they replace the sidelight i.e so i'd still have the Xeons as the main beam but the D2S Bulbs for the dimmer ?
Also would that be plug and play or would i need to get a kit with ballasts etc ?

Thanks Guys

Lol to clear this up.

On the Polo GTI, the dipped beams are factory fitted Xenon HID bulbs in a D2S fitment.

High/Main Beams are a H1 halogen bulb.

Sidelights are 501 or W5W and are a completely independant bulb.

If you wanted to change the dipped d2s bulbs, you can purchase a pair of 6000k ones from HIDS4U and simply swap them over.

However, if, like me, you wanted to have Xenon HID Main/High beams aswell then you would need a 6000k H1 Pro Plus kit from HIDS4U which includes bulbs and ballasts.

Thanks for that Alex but im still confused lol, Sorry im a novice, Let's put it in laymans terms,

When you turn the light switch to the 1st point - That's the dipped beam right ?

When you turn it to the next point - It's the Main Beam

Then ontop of them you have your fogs (which you pull the switch backwards sort of thing) and finally you have the flash

Sorry to sound silly but it just sounds so confusing lol, I remember going through all this when i was trying to order the HID's on my old polo :S

1st level is sidelights only and dash lighting

2nd level is dipped beam (the xenons)

pull out once is front fogs

pull out twice is rear fog

pull forward on indicator stalk thats main beams

At the moment just the crappy side lights as i'm happy with the Xeons but if i can get the money together i might just updrade the Xeons to, I don't think i'll go down the road Alex is talking about in regards to the whole new kit even though it would look super cool.
