As I said, replace with LED for best look. Or philips blue vision for a not so good but better look.

If you want a maginal upgrade, definitely get LEDS. there aren't any bulbs out there that cut it relaly IMO.

if you want to upgrade your xenon bulbs you no where to go OMZ as i had them for my gti but i havent got it anymore

alex will the 6000k bulbs work with out the ballast? as im wanting to upgrade the xenons?

The GTI Xenon HIDs already have ballasts, so its just a case of installing replacement D2S bulbs

Get the ones from HIDs4U though mate. There's been incidents with cheap bulbs (say from eBay) not powering properly with OEM ballasts.

i wouldnt dream of buying lighting equipment from ebay cant trust everything on there plus its a hassle to get things changed.

tim which bulbs you got in yours? i'm buying the 8k ones off bepe on friday so it should be a good little project installing them. you had a problems

We both got 6000k ones. Those 8000k ones will look very blue bear in mind
could be stopped by the cops for them

Projections make things look stronger anyway - the 6000ks i had before look bluer in projections than they do in non projections. Just be weary that you could end up with a far less usable, and beneficial light - possibly a decrease in performance

ah that changes things then alex may have to think twice about this then as i didnt think it was gonna affect the lighting but taking into count what you have said i can see what your on about.
