perplexed - sub powering

Simple enough for some i guess.

Until i decide what install i want im going to run a small Sony sub in the boot from the basic HU with a PC3 lead. Now to be as cheap as chips until i decide on new gear, what basic amp can anyone reccomend to power this 8" Xplod sub i have lying about please.....and is it worth doing...

Blaupunkt PCA-250 or PCA-260, something like that.

Anything in the Alpine is a good move also.
