Drew's 9n {-Patty Mayonaise-}DubClique update 20/10/08

Post by drewbar »

Alright guys, well i've had my 9n for over a week now and though i'd start a little thread on here for it. I've never been into uk-polo net before but its seems that theres a lot new skoolers on here so i'm cool with that. (and a few less keyboard warriors lol).

I've got lots of plans for it but its going to be making slow progress at first I guess so i'll build with time. I've always had names for my cars, this one is Patty Mayonaise from the old skool Doug cartoon lol.

Lol immediate first update for this weekend. Nothing major tbh, still waiting for coilies to arrive but they'll hopefully be on in time for edition38.

So today, fitted my leon cupra R splitter, gives a bit of a harder edge on the front bumper and is different to the vortex kit which is all good imo. Will be more noticeable once the bumper gets fully colour coded and smoothed I guess. I also whipped the badges off the boot, screwed on my stubby areial too.

Yeah dont worry, it'll get low as soon as the suspension turns up. I've got my eyes on a set of wheels at the mo which should look good during the winter until next year when I can hopefully set that game up a bit.

I'll say no more till its done thou :D

Good job so far, nice to hear coilies are on the way. Not so sure on the splitter yet, would have to see it lowered and better pics to fully have an oppinion.

Pressed plates?

Agreed about the splitter mate, once it gets a meaner stance on the go I think it'll all come together a bit better. And yeah, waiting until edition to get rid of these haggered old plates lol.

Looking good - I need to update my thread also, coilovers will make such a difference.

Welcome to the forum btw!

Yeh there's been very few keyboard warriors here.. Unlike club polo.

This is an awesome forum 8)

Leon Cupra R splitter is avalible from Seat dealerships, cost me just shy of £22, i'll pre warn you though, it took quite a bit of chopping and grinding to make it fit nicely, im pleased with the finish though. Coilies due for delievery on Thursday according to the man :D
