Right going to be uograding brakes, Altho i need the Wheel hub assembly for the Gti / 16v

Been looking everywhere for a pair, but none on ebay, Plenty on German ebay, but only ship inside germany or pick up.

Anyone know of a set or link for a decent set lying round, and not at silly price, Also if the callipers & carriers where there, even better, let me know!

Best bet would be breakers. Its gotta be a Mk5 hub though due to the ABS system installed.

I knew of a few that were about, but I think the one nearest me has been crushed :(

I had the same problem with the GT1. In the end I just didnt bother, as the cost exceeded the benefit. If i hear of any Ian, ill let you know.

Well the costs shouldnt be too bad, i mean a full hub ass on German ebay goes for about 60-70 quid with exchange rate, its just silly people wanting daft prices!

I had a set of GTi callipers & Carriers a while back but sold em as i didn't have he Hubs, i'll now need to find another set lol

And cheers bud.

ive got a pair of vr6 calipers spare which im pretty sure are the same as the gti items. i bought them for the carriers to do the 280mm upgrade on mine so the calipers are spare. they came with band new looking pagid pads in too if they are any use?
there is a gti in my local scrappy i can find out about the hubs if you want?

Can you check to see if it still has the headlights matey? More then likey they're gone, or smashed, but it's worth a try.
