Got a friend currently looking for a GTi.

Is it on original gearbox, original clutch? Has the water pump, cambelt and tensioner been changed? Was it recalled for the pedal box and does it have full service history?

It had the gearbox done in jan 07 along with the cambelt tensioners and waterpump and had a new clutch at the same time but this was replaced under warranty in Sept 07 as it went.
my car was not effected by the pedal box problem. i found this out as i dont have a sticker in the boot so i rang vw and they said my car was not effected by the recall. it has a full service history until the last service which i did myself.
