Bought a new Twist! Now some questions...

Post by cacatous »

I've bought a new Polo 1.2 65hp Twist!

Managed to get them to throw in a free CD player and luxury mats. How kind!

I am a VW newbie so do Audi wheels fit and is there a spring set that I can use alongside the standard suspension?

Also haven't found any info on chipping the 1.2 65hp engine! Maybe because it's a bit new?

I paid about £9,250 for all of the above!

I just want the SKN chip to get 75hp...

They are quite expensive then considering I got my sport with all of the above with 6cd changer, 16" barcelona alloys and met paint for £12300

That was last January I ordered it for 1st March. It was just after VW dropped the prices and put extras like 6 disc changer etc on.

It was a cash deal as well so I kept on knocking them down cos I think it should have been £13500 with the extras.

Just a shame about there aftersales service!

Group 6 ins for over 100bhp and a 0-60 of 9 seconds aint bad either!

I went for the 3 door as I prefer the loks and really don't need 5 doors...

Plus it cost £500 less!

i opted for a 5dr, easier for me and my mates to get in and out, i think it looks better, and even the colour pack should be worth more cus of the extra bump strips and door handles!!
