Climatronic/ Climatic

In Australian the Polo GTI came with the Climatic controll what i would like to know is is it a straight swap of the front controll unti?
Does it involve a whole lot more?

Would be lots of work and money, I was thinking about this awhile ago. Climatic is manual but the climatronic is all automatic , their are lots of new parts needed

you'll need to get the control bit, then get all the motors for the flaps, then the flaps themselves, then wire it all in blah blah

there is a post about it, try the search, its about a year back though i reckon!
