Air bag lights on

As the subject says.

Does anyone have encountered this and what needs to be fix and how much it cost you?

Anything else we need to know? has it been in a bump? has the light always been on? anything else happen to trigger this? Have you been playing with the wiring? seats? seatbelts?
I really want to help, but I just don't get what you're asking for.

1.has it been in a bump?
No, it just light up while on red traffic light. On the next traffc light, i tried to switch OFF & ON the the engine and it still lights up.
2.has the light always been on? Yes, 1st turn of the key everything lights up on the dash and disappears(except battery & handbrake) but the air bag lights up after a second and continouosly while engine on.
3.anything else happen to trigger this? Have you been playing with the wiring? seats? seatbelts?[/u] No. I don't do anything with the wiring seats or seatbelts, even cleaning the car for about a week now.

A friend of mine told me that the battery might be flat, i have checked it and the battery eye shows green. And the car is 1 click on start.

best bet is to get the fault codes read. It'll tell you where the problem lies.

Thanks for the help!

I bring the car this morning to VW and they told me that they just reset it. Their reason - there is no technical fault or theres nothing wrong with the car and it has something to do with the electronics system sometimes sending some wrong signals and activating some electronic faults in the system. Thanks GOD!
