Long Day Out!**Pics Now**

Post by KennyPOLO_Gti »

Well started off at 9 this mornin to get my downpipe and cat done.
The guy finished that off for 2ish then a headed across to the other side of scotland to the only APR dealers and got stage two put my wee polo and bought the APR Dump Valve to go with it.

Not really gave the car a good boot yet as a didnt want to waste all my petrol!

Then headed further up the road to Arbroath to collect my new wheels. They are practicaly out the wrapper including the tyres so very chuffed.

Anyway thats me not long home now so tomorrow a will be fitting new wheels and DV :P Will post pics up tomorrow

the r1 is a very tight fit in to the hoses mate, but its a belting piece of kit, youll need a couple of jubilee clips to replace the s**t black spring tension fitting ones that hold in the stock dv, but these are easy to get hold of

so how you finding everything so far

Yeah it massive! Got a shock when a opened the box lol! Will get some jubilee clups this mornin then.

Not really had the chance to test it yet because on the way home a had me, my pal, and 4 17" alloys squeezed into the polo so all i really noticed was the petrol disappearing with all the extra weight!

Gonna go out the now and give the alloys a coat of auto gylm super resin polish then a coat of extra gloss as a sealant for them then on they go. Hope they look ok!! :?

Never got a pic of the new one, saw it goin in tho, its like night and day! Got a pic of the old one tho. Will post pics of everythin once i clean my car, just got the wheels on.

Found once i got the downpipe on before i got stage two, when idling the revs would drop off 200 revs then go back up? But after I got the remap everythin was ok :P Just bit of useless info for anyone thinkin of gettin downpipe.

* White - Yeah it was custom made mate. Very impressed with it, only cost me 199 all in! :P

Well what a mornin ave had. Went out polished my wheels up and got on with fittin them. Once that was done took the car a run down the town to find a horrible rattling noise so came back home and the front left wheel bolts were slack and the alloy was a "rattle" fit, so took wheel off and the allen screw on the hub was unscrewed half way out the hole :?: :?: :?: tightened everythin back up and went round all the tires and everythin seems ok now fingers crossed!Well apart from my warning light for my tyre pressure is on :!: Checked all my tyres and they are all sittin at 32psi, so pressure seems to be fine. Anyone shed some light on this????
