How do you find driving tha car overall Nick? After all the palaver is it really really worth it? does the power get down all right, and does it handle well?

It's something I'm really tempted to do in the future. But i'd want to do it for the right reasons i.e it's the chassis can handle the power, it's fast and it handles really well. I'm not one for scene points...

Any help would be great mate.

i think doing the 20vt conversion is worth every penny. it gives me such a big grin on my face everytime i drive it. getting the power down is down to the road conditions to be honest, i mean it does spin in the dry ( unless you get a lsd ) but if your steady on the accelerator and dont stomp on it in 1st and 2nd the power gets down nicely, and the acceleration puts you into the seat lol. the power through the rest of the gears is wicked. it proper suprises more expensive cars that are supposedly more faster, when you plant it and over take, or they try it on, the polo just pisses all over them. handling wise, the 1.8t engine isnt really that heavy so it still handles really well, tbh i cant tell the difference from when i had the 1.4 in it. overall i think its well worth it...but i dont think power should exceed 270/280bhp tbh, i think between 250 and 280bhp is just right for the polo, anymore and traction really will become a problem, and i dont think you can get over 300bhp through the front wheels effectively. i may be wrong but thats just my opinion.

if you have anymore questions, just ask
