lucky boy tim but your not the first 2 have that happen
ive seen loads at work that have gone like yours has! not suprised u heard it though normaly they screem there nuts of when the plastic fails!

just another crap design with polo's that we have 2 live with!

did you get the waterpump done at the same time as excatly the same thing happens with them (unless u are one of the lucky ones who got a all metal water pump with your polo!)
