I'm stuck here, because right now it looks very standardish and I feel like adding these little things will just tip it over the top into distinctly modified zone.

i think the black roof has been done enough...
im still not sure about badgeless mk5's, it leaves a lot of open space

The wing mirrors are anthracite and were done a special gunmetal colour to match the BBS Splitties I had on it before.

I'd get the wheels to match then and if you want a modified look get a badge less gril.

I think it's looks great as it is but if you really want to change something go for the blackroof, badgeless look bad IMO
