Welcome to the site mate, lovely looking car you have. As previously stated your front camber is rather insane lol, get him done soon as you can fella. I'm very close to you too. I'm from Newport.

Make sure you go to the next Newport Edition meet, it'll be my first also.

Tegwin I did not realise you were so close too!

Just a quick update as i havent really been posting on here, just browsing!

Ok, After chewing through a set of tires in 4000 Miles, i put a pair on and got it tracked and camber adjusted today:

BUT, i had to higher the suspension as it would fit on the machine :(

Good old weekend cleaning pics:

Cleaning products, situated neatly in my first aid compartment lol

Image

What i use to get a jack underneath the car (yes, its part of a speed ramp lol)

Image

Sub and amp as i fancied a bit of bass, at £70 for the amp, sub and wiring kit i couldnt leave it there

Image

VW Receipts from today for:

Anti-Roll bar bushes and clamps (a speed ramp decided to remove mine from the car, how nice of it)
Image
Interior Grab Handles (they were getting tatty, you probably all know of this happening)
Image
New GTi front and rear badges as the old ones were going pink
Image

And finally, my little Mod, its not very neat, but all i had to work from was a pair of side snips which i swear come out of a christmas cracker and a steak knife!

Pleased with the result, it doesnt get in the way and tray actually gets some use now!

O, and i have also got german plates and Wolfburg surrounds now!

Thats All Folks!!

so you managed to connect the 6 CD changer to an aftermarket head unit?
Also I noticed you don't have red door cards.

Is that one of the Alpine iPod-compatible HUs? I routed my iPod connectivity cable to the glovebox so I can lock it away (plus, a classic sized iPod doesn't fit in the wee coin tray!).

i know its still got restriction in the system but it DOES free up quiet a bit of power with the induction too!!
