no i they original grilles remoulded thats why they are sanded off VW dont make them

The parts are imported from Singapore.. The seller in China sand off the parts no. because he don't want People in China to order directly from parts shop... U know.. Most people don't have EKTA 7.0 in China

Yes.. I noted that a little bit earlier from ebay... US$ 185 parts + PnP, Deliver on surface, so it takes you more than 20 days from HK to UK

Well.. I think the hole is a Personal DIY cut out... just like they did on the Golf GTI..

ours have the cutout in the drivers side vent to vent air to the standard intercooler, or for us front mount runners, to show off the hoses coming from the intercooler

as Jeff put seems to be different to the one in the picture!!

the fog light mesh grille don't have the hole...it looks as shown on the Red GTI foto

Ignore the photo on the thread, its the only one we had we I ran the previous GB.

Like Jeff explained...One's you get if the GB takes off are the ones with holes in drivers side fog for the IC air duct. The middle grill is hollow and the other isn't punched with holes.

For your reference look at the previous GB thread in the GB section, or look for the thread with photos of my car (last page please!).

VW logos / part numbers are off the original grills used as moulds for shaping the cast. These part numbers are probably sanded off for good reason, i.e. so that they're not classed as counterfit. No these aren't genuine VW products, however they are very close to OEM quality and much better than we expected them to be.
