Had a nightmare at the weekend. My rear washjet was not working. Checked it wasn't blocked. Checked hose in tailgate. Nothing. Filled up the tank. Tried running again. Still nothing. Tried the front and then they stopped, then all I could hear was the pump running dry!
My rear washer hose had some how disconnected on the connection above the rear wheel arch at the top of the rear seats, and had just finished pumping 2 litres of water inside the car.
Removed all the trim trying to find it. Wasn't to bad as could have been much worse if it and pin holed or split.
One rear seat got wet which I removed to let it dry out, luckily no water stains and removed the foam from under the carpet which soaked most of it up.
Luckily it was clean water with only a tad of washer liquid in. All seems to be dry and stain free but leaving it all out for a couple of days to air and the car to completely dry out. It only got onto one rear seat base, carpet behind passenger seat and the foam underneath it.
Lucky escape (in a way!). Any one else had this? Think i'll tape the connection up once it put it all back together.
