I've been busy!

got more supplies first of all...

started by cutting the wood, (ignore the graffiti, some yob did it!)

got some decent speaker cable from a really good mate 8)

and cut the hole for the sub

Oh and don't worry my mum doesn't know yet, by the time she visits that room I'll be in Sheffield :wink: :lol:

Just screwed the wood into place so it won't move at all, then slapped some resin and fibreglass on :wink:

looks good and very good job.

just one question if i may the outer plastic bit on the sub looks like it is touching the back of the boot does it vibrate at all ?

Haris, amazing buddy, i dont know what to say.

All the hard work has paid off, starting off with no idea where to buy the supplies from, to a finished sub box that works!!!

And all the jokes we had, i cant wait to start a new project in my car!

I don't believe it touches anything to to make it vibrate, that bit is metal anyway and it's screwed in quite tight into the box, and trust the box does not move!

It sounds different, hits notes deeper. I'm guessing thats due to the bigger volume of box compared to what I had.

Would you recommend making one similar then mate? I'm all up for doing one, but a bit unsure as to how it would sound
