what model is our polo gti?

hi. just bought this polo gti for my wife. need to know what model it is as want to order a set of coilovers for it. as it look silly standard height.

Few names, the technical term is 6N2.

It's a mark5, or sometimes classed as a mark4 facelift.

If you quote it as a Polo year 2000 you can't go wrong

even heard it called a mk3 facelift (with the mk 2 being a mk1 facelift...)
you can't go wrong calling it a 6n2 though.

Don't mean to hi-jack this thread, but reading this got me thinking. As far as the Mk5's go, how does the model range stand, is it somthing like E>SE>16V>CC>GTI or am Imissing out a few ranges? :?

TDi also. there was also a CC TDi. and 75bhp and 100bhp versions of the CC and 16v if I'm not mistaken?

Ah, I was aware of the 75 and 100 bhp models, but just thought they were under the same model for 16v's, not sperate models ,as the same with the TDI models, but I didn't know they were actually seperate entities, I just thought it was a 1.4 TDI SE or somthing :oops:
