Same as anything else is. You have the advantage though that's its really small and there's a break in the paint with the black seal. Thin and multiple coats of primer and paint, followed by think lacquer coats and 1200 grit wet paper inbetween is the key.

Nothing new at the moment :( I plan to do a little photoshoot sometime this week or next week as I have two new lenses and a nice new flash to play with so we will see how that works out!

I do need to get a set of lupo GTI wiper arms and blades though...so if anyone has part numbers and prices of these, id greatly appreciate it :)

I know but im lazy!

Two :). A F/1.8 50mm fixed for portraits with amazing depth of field, and a F/2.8 17-50mm for super crisp shots :)

Plus a nice new Nikon SB600 wireless flash gun :D

I feel some awesome photos coming on!

Now having read a fair bit of what you've done here, I think you should think twice about the Lupos. There are too many compromises. If I wasn't selling my Polo soon I'd get aero ends welded on to normal Polo arms

Hmm thats a good idea actually. Im sure my mate can manage that :)

Either that, or its just a set of aero replacements for the front, and a new bluemotion one for the rear

The rear aero wiper is another thing. My 9n arm with a Bluemotion blade just doesn't work right - does yours crush the blade too?

I was looking at a Scirocco at the weekend and thought the wiper off that might suit the Polo better, since it seems to be shorter

Its a passat estate arm - its much smaller, and the blade is off a passat estate (though im told the bluemotion is the same)

Its a 280mm blade, same as factory, and you just push the blade further down so the clip isnt in the middle, but further to the right :)

Did Si's at edition - super easy!

Yeh I've heard Lupo arms are a bit of a headache. I went to VW to get the kit priced up for myself a while ago and they were asking for over £100 for it all!

Think I'm going to do the rear Passat Estate wiper mod.

I've got a retro fitting aero wiper on the rear at the moment - doesn't look right for starters and will start coming off if you use it a few times :(

I've tried not to use to rear wiper before, but I seem to find so many occasions where I need to use it. Especially in heavy rain on the motorway. Couldn't bear to be without it.
