Went down to the shop today, wheels are ready and they are being fitted tomorrow morning at 9:00am 8)

Looking forward to your views and opinions on the new colour! :D

No pics, wheels are not fitted. Turns out that despite the assurances of the seller, who claims to have fitted them to his mk1 and mk2 Golf and his Mum's Polo 6N without spigot rings, I need some spigot rings. There is a couple of millimetres of play when the new rims are fitted and I don't want to run them without.

So frustrating! Because they look great and I've not seen any VWs with this colour of wheel on!

Off on holiday next weekend so it will be a couple of weeks now :evil:

I was told you cant laquer powder coated wheels?! How were you able to do yours?

My last set were lacquered, as are the ones currently being refurbished :P

Yep, all the wheels I've had powdercoated in the past have then been lacquered with no issues :)

They are still not on :( I have yet to measure the centre bore and order the required spigot rings!

Been uber-busy with work :?
