Sadly it limits what wheels u can run!

Only difference is the 909 solid engine mounts but they are welded 2 the chassie
ah i see, im only going on what i got qouted on. i was under the impression the RS500 ones are a little more solid?
depaends what u mean by rs500?
The 500 race cars all used the 909 solid weld in engine mounts (cant see how u could use them on anything other than a cosworth!)
The rs500 road cars used standard engine mounts like the saf cosworth, 3 doors and escos.
However many have been uprated 2 solid mounts (there are loads of companys who sell them) so maby thats what u have?
it was that that amde the wheel fall off as they cross threaded the bolts and it has screwed up thehub and wheel bearing so im puttin new on both sides while im at it and im only doin the stud conversion a sim fed up with balancing the wheel with a 6mm spacer on so just doin one stud so that the space will sit on better

The way I see it though is that can still happen, plus you have the added issue of keeping both sides of the stud proper tight.
