Tim, sorry mate, gotta agree with Ash on this one... IF I sold my standard heated black CC recaros and doorcards id ask for AT LEAST 800... the condition really is mint... Yes u can get yellow and black recaro's without cards in decent condition for 400-500... now nappa leather is fookin expensive, mj retrims are fookin expensive and those recaro's are fookin expensive too buddy!! I think you should make Ash a reasonable offer though... Good luck with your leather hunt, just be prepared to pay a lot for a good set! Seriously, pay good money now and dont look back, ive seen show cars with SHABBY retrims and honestly it completely destroys the car IMO... they can make or break a car, do it once and do it right matey 8)

Ash, on a serious note, are they really that orange..lol :?

Yeh I just read the whole thread back, I didn't realise it was nappa the first time round. I came on a little strong, apologises for that Ash. The colour is the main issue now for me though. So good luck and hope it sells mate!

No problem mate, kept the post near the top :D

The colour is very orange and would be a mare getting into the car with a serious hangover but does look awesome in the flesh

I think £1500 is a fair price considering the amount of stuff you are getting for your money!

If it was just the seats then i would have said it was over priced but you are getting seats, parcel shelf, gear gaitor and the full doorcards (not just the material bit).

£1500 is a bargain for the amount of stuff at that quality to be honest!

Free bump

retrim looks first rate, and MJ interiors has a very satisfied customer base, however I can't help but feel you're paying for his reputation within the VW scene as much as anything.

I've seen some fantastic retrims done for less by companies who aren't known on the vw show scene and don't charge 'VW tax' accordingly.

good luck with the sale though!

Definitely, anything with good press just rises in price. Even things like popular parts, look at the PD160 for example.
