oil gunk is perfectly normal in the air filter due to the breather. Now if you didn't have the breather linked up you wouldn't get that.

Think you should've left the inner vertical slates black keeping them visually hidden bringing out the horizontal slates.

Anyway, whats next then?

LOL!!!!!

GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!!!!!!!

Those black slates that are vertical have been masked with masking tape!!!

I was re-spraying a table for a mate and went crazy with layering it with gloss.... now i dont have any gloss... so waiting to get the some gloss so I can finnish it off... and then i will take the masking tape off and you will see the black slats!!! HAHHH lol

next i think i will be changing the wing mirrors...

still like the look off this polo compared to mine!!

Apart from that.. i need to fix the rear brakes.. they are squeaking.. might ask this vw specialist whats the cost to change the rear drums to pads.. and also have had a few talks with my dad about sharing an audi tt.. you can get one for £6k!!!!!

LOL!!

I got lucky...

Cutting down the mk5 golf 'splitter' took a fair time!!

I had to cut off a fair amount of un-needed plastic, and then cut out space in the car to fit it in!

Now you could sand all the plastic down and spray it with matte black to make it all look a bit more modern and uptodate, to match the newer gear knob as well. would look ace, i hope to do this some time around christmas, as well as fit the longer middle section from a mk5 tht goes all around the handbrake.

:D

Ask around if any garages can lend you their premises after hours or weekends if they don't use them then.

Only prob, is I didn't look at my headlights first (BELOW)

The Lights slant inwards so the eye brows don't fit unless i do some cutting...

So.. Im selling the Kamei Scheinwerfer-blended eye brows!!!
