Im having mine decated this week well tuesday lol, u no if its a long process mate and i take it uv kept the original cat??
Is ur pipercross filter a foam noise maker one???
Id recomend the viper pipercross with the cold air feed pal, then ul see some resluts!
Also isit alot louder with a decat as i have a 3inch backbox single wich is pretty quite considering, isit alot louder???

it is the noise making one, but does sound good with the de-cat, just saving up now to get a BMC.
The standard Gti systems iv found quiet grunty anyway, the de-cat has just added a rasp to it, i like it though lol

You have to remove the strip of dashbord covering below (you can find one of the points in the glove box and the other near the steering coloumn), underneath them is two back screws for the holder, and there are two screws at the front corners. hey presto shes out. but be careful, if bits fall apart its a real pain to put back together!!
