Exactly

Your telling me you'd prefer it to the 6N2 dash is you could simply choose?

I didn't say anything like that, I just said I like it. It's not a case of being able to simply choose so your question is moot :)

Haha, and then come home and realise that it's one with the steering wheel on the wrong side for a Brittish car

But it is al do-able, just takes time, effort and some good old measuring :D

Then it's still easier to get yourself a proper TT dash in the first place, and get that fitted perfectly to your car, but that's my opinion.

Also did some minor work tonight, got rid of the airconditioning condensor from the climatronic heater unit. Just need to close the hole it left, en then get it installed in the car, then I can get the dash in 8) hoping for another spare night this week

Nice looking kit. Is this the first time you've bought something from the US?

Nope, bought it the first time since the exchange rate of the Dollar compared to the Euro dropped like a maniac, so bought these beauties for the cheapest price I could imagine

Went on with the works tonight, and did it like a hobby should be done, took it nice and easy, some funky tunes on the background, a beer up for grabs, and just went on relaxed style

Heater without the condensor, also closed up all the little holes it left, worked in some pieces ofplastic, and sealed the tiny cracks left, so no air will "leak" from the unit.

Heater-unit:

Condersor-free!:

and fitted the heater-unit while at it:

Old & new dash:

And while at it, why not continue the modding and trial-fit the dash to see if it was all worth the effort:

I guess it was worth the mod's, almost ready to fit.

Last "big" problem to solve:

Oh, and need to sort my Can-Bus problem out, since the new tacho works on Can-Bus, and my present ECU doesn't work on the Can-Bus system, but already have a solution in mind 8)

Bought myself a new set of rims for the mk4 last week. BBS RS 001, 15"x 7J ET 25, already had a set under the mk4 previously, but am now longing for that look again, I just loved it, don't understand why I went for the GTI's afterwards.
Set has never been worked on, still in condition as it came out of the factory! But needs some good refurbishment and works before it'll go under the mk4, another winter-project on my hands here.

And just for laughs I fitted then under the daily mk2, and went to the VW Polo Club Holland's Fall Meet&Greet.

Didn't even look too bad to be honoust
