ats cup

Post by gavdub »

hi all. iv finally got my 1999 mk4 6n lowered 60mm all round and it looks loads better. iv been looking at wheels and like the look of the ats cup design. just wondering if the 15x7 size wheel wrapped in 195/45/15 rubber will give me any rubbing problems on standard arches, also what off set would i need et 20 or 28. please can any one help me.

I would advise going with ET20, with 165/50 tyres.

194/45s will rub if the car is low enough.

Wow.. they're becomming even more common lol. I agree with Tim. Fronts are never really a problem as im down 120 with 149/45 rubber and they go lock to lock without touching anything. Its the rear you have to watch. As advised 165/50 rubber is better that stretch gives more room.

I still need to change my tyres. I'm down 100 on the rear and it scrubs. I keep thinking of getting rid all together but i have people say keep and my brain says 13's!! Though i think id get beached eveywhere as the exhaust catches on road humps as it is. and the fact id miss the dish of the Cups.
