Whining noise when I accelerate

the thing is that is drives just fine, no probs engaging gears etc etc. Just that bloody noise!!! Its a 2000 plate and has done 33k

hmm. maybe not gearbox. stil get it checked out anyway!

If its the box it will mate. It won't start playing up for another few weeks, slipping out of gears, grinding in neutral etc... it all starts with noises

Well before this i had a punto sporting and the gear box went on that so i know the signs. Hoping its not going to be major but what will be will be! Garage first thing, i shall let you know!!

Mine is costing 575 plus the labour for a genuine parts rebuild

Im hoping mine will be around that price, until they have a proper look they cant give me a true figure
