Of course it does. It's not about making money though, car detailing and modifying never is.
Very true, hate it when people put it down to money.

If I payed that much for a nuburgring edition VXR i'd probably want it kept that mint aswell :)

But to go over every panel with a paint depth gauge before accepting delivery, and then contemplating rejecting it due to a 0.5mm paint blob is quite frankly sad.
I saw this a while ago when posted on the TDI Sport forum. Frankly im shocked anyone would reject a car for the tiny paint blob and how upset he was that there was a pen mark on the floor pan under the boot carpet!

FFS just go and drive the car the way it was meant to be.

My sentiments exactly!

I'd find it a shame for that excessive cleaning to be wasted on a £200k Lamborghini, let alone a £20k Vauxhall.

Yeh, there's a fine line between keeping your car immaculate, and taking the p*ss.

So what, it's his car? He can do whatever the hell he wants to it. He didn't pay for it to be done, he just wanted to make his car very, very shiny. It's a nice Astra regardless, and it's pretty unique.

Any queries, please refer to my sig.
Exactly, plus that thread is older than the internet, why bring it up now?
