195/65/16 on a 9n??

Post by desgreen »

Would alloys and tyres of 195/65/16 be ok on the polo?

Cheers

No, they would be too big. :(

Plus your speedo would read 60mph when you are closer to 70mph

I use 205/45/16 on my 16's I think it's a standard size depending on how wide your wheels are.

Use something like this to get the right sizes:

Type in the original size, then adjust the new size until it's closest, they are better web pages but I can't remember the link.

the rolling radius of 195/65/16 is 329.95mm, 205/45/16 is 295.45mm.
but not all 9ns are in the 295mm region. The polo twist has 14 inch alloys as standard which has 288.8mm rolling radius.

Plenty of room even with a 45-50mm drop.
