If they are basic seats they may just have a power supply lead..
But...if they are from a newish car... there is a sepperate controler for the seats which plugs into the cars ECU system... thats why if you look at VAGCOM you can change settings for the seats...
So, youu might get lucky... then again... you might not...
Why add such heavy seats? Get some nice thin recaros out of the older golf...or some new recaros from the factory....Loose some weight rather than add it!

Agreed!
I'm considering replacing mine with some of these as fitted to the Audi TT Quattro Sport.
Those S3 Recaros feel a size too big in my actual S3, to the point where I've considered replacing them.
I've heard some silly sh!te come from Audi drivers but this is one of the best , Taking your seats out because they're too big! Please!!!! Its not as if its a small car, its almost as daft as buying an american muscle car then fitting lpg to it to keep the running cost down!!!
I really am not a fan of the S3 Recaros! I find it nigh on impossible to get comfortable in them, and I always feel like I'm sat "on" rather than "in" them.
Although saying that, I would miss the heated leathers with the current climate.....
