Hiya Ken, and welcome.
Here's your 1st tester....which 2 dvd stereos would you recommend at various budgets? Say... £150 or £250?
Don't mind whether single or double din although i'm currently with single +cubby.

Site looks good btw! :D

well with that budget i would reccomend the beat 550 dvd h/u
it is single din and has a suprisingly good picture whilst viewing
the other good thing about it is that it comes with a bluetooth handsfree phone kit built in and it will work with an i phone

Wow, quick response thanks!
Think I prefer the look of the 550.
Glad it has the USB port too as I don't carry my CD's round with me. All my music is on the stick. Bluetooth ready is a bonus too!
I don't know much about car stereo manufacturers but is 'Beat' a new one? Not heard of them before and have usually ended up with Kenwood or JVC.

beat are reasonably new to the scene
not in the same league as kenwood etc but better in my opinion than the sevic units
unfortunately your budget does not allow for a mainstream brand unit
but from experience of fitting a couple of these they are very well built and work really well
bear in mind these units are touch screen aswell so you are actually getting a lot of unit for the money and they all come with a full 12 month warranty on them
