Right, lupo wiper conversion involves purchasing two passenger side arms, with the matching blades. I've been quoted over £140 for the full set before by a dealer. But I'm fairly sure if you look around enough, you can get the full wack for under £60.ben3486 wrote:any one got a picture of the vw retro fit wipers?! i had a set on my mini and they looked a bit naff i thought. where they connected to the wiper arm it just didnt look great. How much would i be looking at for some lupo gti aero wipers? and is it a straight one for one swap?! cheers
Aero wipers cost £25, and look like this:

And the Lupos look like this:

I think everyone can agree that the Lupos look better, but I've heard from a few sources that you comprise functionality of the wipers in doing so.
I've got the Lupo GTi aero wipers. The primary issue is that with the new arms and blades, the sweep area is changed and not only does the driver's side arm/blade comes very close to hitting the A-pillar, it also scrubs against the scuttle panel. So in a nutshell, better looking but a ballache to get working properly with hitting the A-pillar etc.
I've bought a set of lupo aeros arms and wipers, besides it scrubs the scuttle panel, the wiper arms also cannot be lift up! I turn out buying a set of retrofits (6N2 998 002)....Si_GTi wrote:I've got the Lupo GTi aero wipers.
