I got the same Car and the same problem, I think mine all stems from the push button start I have and the new starter motor and i think it might be a bit weak lol.

As for your problem, have you had your battery checked? That can be one problem with starting. If you have and its fine, my next guess is that maybe an Earth Wire has broken or has a bad connection.

1)The push button is the easy way around the ignition switch, lazy. Check its working correctly.
2) - check the starter motor connections, working order. ect
3) - Check your dizzy cap, could be worn the brushes on the roator arm. also check the supply from the coil pack to the dizzy.

Also check the coilpack is converting low voltage to high.

Just a few pointers. Not saying its either.

Im making a trip to london tomorrow so before I go im jus gunna change the Dizzy cap and roator arm.

I dunno how to check the Coilpacks or even what they are so I'll assume they are ok :P and as for the iginition swtich, I have a replacement one jus dunno how to fit it :P

sorry if this is kinda hijacking the thread :P but I think we both have the exact same problem :) and I guess all info is valuable hehe
