9N Newbie

Post by Lordnikon »

Hi guys, just looking at buying a 9N 1.4 100 sport (petrol) or an FSI 86 one - dont mind which tbh

I want to do the suspension on it, coilovers are sorted, but also want some wheels and some interior/ICE plus maybe alittle tuning to pep it up a tad.

I am wanting 8x18 alloys but not sure if they will fit or not ??

Also seen a 9N with Audi TT front seats in it, looked mint, anyone know how much work is needed to get them in ??

Sorry for all the questions -

18's have been done but they are a crap ride apparently (whitepolo had them so maybe pm him about them)

with fitting any seats its just welding the old subframe onto the seats so they fit, so quite easy if you know what your doing :)

and welcome :)

for your ice the front comp speakers are fine there is an official VAG upgrade kit for the car but with the tweeter speaker glue/melted into the pillars at the front of the car its even more awkward, you honestly don't need to replace these speakers. Get a new head unit for certain and then certainly a sub and amp.

yeah i meen you can get a head unit for like say 100 quid n fit it yourself. and then just run some wires through your car and buy a sub+amp package.. it took me a good 3 hours to turn it all around including going out and buying it all ha

do some 16's not 18's too

Just to let you know i picked up my 9N yesterday. Black 1.4 sport 100 model. Optional 16's, 3 door immaculate example. Bulbs have been changed for xenon look ones, indicators done to rid it of orange, debadged, de wipered, induction mods and K&N. Have ordered afew more bits due for delivery at the weekend :)

So far so good, made up with it at the minute :)
