How do i change the light for heating switches?

i have read a topic on this, i done everything apart from pulling the middle nob? does he mean the 1-4 nob? i cant find any bulbs anywhere any pics u can upload?

yea m8 you pull the 1-4 fan speed nob out and its a a 286 bulb you need think its 12v 1.2w or simalar

But how do you remove the 1-4 knob?

Pair of pliers mate

youll never beleive this. A had the whole car in bits to get out the heater control panel. LIKE everythin the centre console nearly the dashboard lol. Eventually got it out...couldnt see the bulb in the back...Phoned VW....aw mate just pull out the fan speed knob...IM STILL getting ripped to bits at work because of this a was F**CKIN RAGING lolol...mind you ive learned from my mistake.

put some cloth or rag over the switch though mate, dont wanna tear chunks in it lol
