I'm running Toyo T1R, have been for a long while. I get about 7000-8000 miles from them, which for me is roughly 10 or 11 months of motoring :)

I have had no problems whatsoever with the Toyos, apart from an obvious reduction in grip in the wet once down to 4mm tread and under (too easy to spin them up when leaving junctions).

Haven't tried the Yokos so can't really comment!

What about Continental Sport Contact 2's? More expensive than the Toyos and Yokos, but better?

What about Goodyear Eagle F1's??? i constantly hear rave reviews about them and thats the next tyres im hoping will cope with 300+bhp in the MR! The wet is the problem for myself being rear wheel drive, but iv heard they are very good in the wet also....fingers crossed!!

In all fairness though.....R888's arent exactly an all rounder are they? Yeh they are extremely good in the dry, but would be a nightmare in the wet and when it comes to delay use....well they wont last very long unfortunately :(

Plus....they aint cheap!!!
