GTI Aftermarket speaker adaptor plate

Hey guys, i am putting some raimbow comps as well as other sound system stuff in my polo, just checking that this is the right adaptor part to enable the speakers to go in?

Dont even bother with it. Just cut the two little plastic pins on the current speaker plate off then you can use that one. Plus, the replacements are cheapo plastic that the screws pull out of very easily!

What's the depth of the speakers your getting? Because this is an issue with better spec speakers on the GTi.

hhhhmm.. you should be ok. Mine are 59mm and fit, where as those are 65mm.. I can't remember how much space I had back there, but they should be alright.
