Agree, definitely colour code it!

It would've been alright if you kept the wheels black, to tie in with the scheme. But it's a must do now 8)

Take it to a bodyshop, they'll detexturise them and spray them.

Expect to pay £200-300.

You may want to look at buying new rear ones too, as they don't come off easily without snapping.

Yours are three door though arent they haris?

I know when i did mine, i bought all new strips and a new splitter ... it cost £220 for all the plastics - that was at VW staff price too!

Wrote the car off on boxing day. Sorry guys another polo out of service.

The scariest moment of my life.

Was travelling along a A road. Went around this bend at about 45mph. Back end jinked from the left hand side to the right. Sending me straight into a bank. In the space of a blink i was from facing a bank to being upside down. The car slid down the road for about 10meters. The sound of metal scrapping on toarmac is horrifying and is still in my head to this day. I havent been able to get much sleep and the flash backs of me being upside down not being able to see anything due to it being pitch black hasnt helped.

Bonnet, roof, wind screen, boot, drivers door, 3/4 panel all runied.

Runing gear is perfect dont have a clue how :?:
Mums getting a Ford Ka. Im going to go and get my own car this time. Will use the Ford Ka while i save up. Thinking of a Mk3 Polo. Make it a GT look a like and then fit a GT engine after a while behind the wheel.
