How do you remove it?

You need to remove the trim on the inside (the beige'y coloured one around the rear window), it is just clipped in so give it a yank (carefully so you dont break it). Then there are 3 screws. Undo them then it just comes off. You will only be able to remove it a few inches, until you unplug the connector.

what are the bulbs which are in it? i have 1 or 2 that have gone. it sounds easy to take off though

I'm not sure they are bulbs...I always thought they were LEDs. Don't quote me on that though...

I am just going to pick a one up from a scrap yard, mine is cracked dont know how thats happend.

I had my 3rd brake light out last night. Can show you tonight if you like mate. Oh and they are bulbs, halfords sell replacements.
