SMK Tuning 6N2 Front Splitter

Has anybody Fitted one of these Splitters to their GTI?

I must admit I am tempted to get one, not too expensive and It does slightly improve the look of the car. £69.00 + £25.00 postage.

Let me know what you think 8)

Similar to the Reiger front splitter. Wouldn't work for me, would just get broken on any number of speedbumps and B-roads that I regularly encounter. My standard front splitter is in a bit of a sorry state from such encounters

Yeah the Seat Splitter can be fitted to the 6N2 GTI but its not a striaght fit and requires a little work. My Mate has fitted the Seat Leon Cupra spiltter to his Fabia VRS. Not keen on that splitter though

Yeah the lcr splitter is much better, that one looks to big and frumpy, would make ur car look uneven from a side view me thinks!

I fitted my lcr splitter ok but u gotta now wot ur doin like pre drilling the splitter and center punching the holes in ur oem spliiter!

Jack the car up as it will make fittin easyer, theres a carbon fibre lcr splitter on ebay thats bigger than the oem lcr splitter! Cheap aswell!

Im not sure on the exact fitment but if it bends round at the edges then yeah but if not ur gona have to chop out the middle maybe, i rekon it will, give it to a bodyshop to fit if ur not too handy pal, i dunno bout the bendyness off carbon fibre but id go for it if i didnt already have the lcr one!

Yeah there easy to do just pre drill the holes first and work from the middle out, have to cut the edges a tad aswell!

as it happens i had this splitter on my car......... i think it was dee-vub i brought it of as he originally had it on his car....

it was easy to fit and when i first put it on i thought that looks quite nice actually............ then after a while i decided........... NA!!!
didnt like it and got the gti splitter instead.

it made the car look to big at the front and from the side, unless u got side skirts, the front bumper sits to low compared to the sides..... maybe if u got a smoothed bumper it might not be as bad but if u got standard bumper go for a gti splitter instead.
