Cheers guys!

Just gotta sort out the fogs next :x

Probably won't go for the full HID option but maybe upgrade bulbs to xenons.
Not really looked into that yet though. Would like to do it soon to get the full use of em though before the lighter mornings and evenings start lol

Looks great Charlie! I also have a set of these ready to go on mine, but was going to wait to get mine colour coded fist as the black headlights against the black bump strips didn't look right! But the lights definately work well with olympic blue

The headlights are from VW. Normally £89 each (inc VAT)
Part numbers are = 6Q2941008M + 6Q2941007M

We managed to get them a little cheaper though as we know someone who works there.

Got another little snap on a camera phone today

Loving the mods Charlie  They completely transform the front end of the car. Lovely colour too...take it that's olymipic blue?

I'm going of in a slight tangent here, so forgive me...how hard was it to get the bumper off? Did you need to jack the car at all? And finally, did you get primered bumpstrips from VW? I really want to get mine colour coded, but VW want £250+ for all the bump strips :?

Hi Ash, Cheers for the comments!
Yes, it's an Olympic Blue - still love the colour as much as the day I picked it up!

I'll be honest - the bumper was quite a sod to get off.....almost as much as getting it back on!
It would've been a lot easier if i'd known where all the screws were before I started though.
We didn't need the jack at all.

Fortunately, my bumpstrips were already colour coded. It would've been something I definitely would have wanted to get done otherwise.
I currently have some damage to the passenger side one so need to replace it and have been quoted around £100+ as the strip itself is around £43. :(

If you're thinking of removing the bumper, i'd really recommend getting someone to help - it's almost impossible to get it back on without someone supporting the other side.
I should probably have done a DIY guide and taken photos as I went along...

Number plate surround, and black grille-surround mask?

I also notice a black rear view mirror (not sure if it's the lighting though). Front fogs were missing from earlier pics, but I'm presuming they were removed in order to take the bumper off as the holes are still there?

I'm not really sure if the mask works that well...I think a chrome one would work better with Olympic blue, but that's not my call :) Still looks good :)

Either way, I think I've got my bases covered. Charlie, you owe me a cookie :D

Ash :)
