Leaky rear window washer!

Post by Whos Adam? »

After this recent cold patch of weather i have noticed my rear window washer is not working. only the sound of the pump working but no water!!

Today i have realized that is has been pumping water in and around the tailgate and boot :)
does the rear trim just pull off to show the tubes or is there a special trick :D

also has anyone else had this problem?
Cheers, Adam

yep this happened to me about a month ago.
just remove the trim. there is two screws in the handles that u need to remove and then some clips.
the pipe is just there, u'll need to dry out the panel cause there is bit of foam insulating in there and it absorbs all the water lol

The other place for it to go (on ours at least) was behind the boot carpet on the left hand side, close to some light electrics - if you've just strengthened the seal on one join, you might find this goes next. Could be worth pulling the carpet aside now and taping/clipping it up.
