have been thinking of fitting a exhaust backbox to me 1.4 polo
any body got any views and opinions on cherry bomb as a freind of a friend is offereing 1

do they sound any good or just make it sound like a bag of spanners?

Think your car with no exhaust and your nearly there!
I kinda like them though as they take me back 2 my youth and my first nova which had a cherry bomb and the many freezing nights burning round supermarket car parks!

i have been told that i would need a 2 1/2 inch exit so i dont go over the top, plus i dont like the big exit exhausts oon a small car, does the size sound about right?

i have a cherry bomb on my mk4, and its the mutts nuts. not over the top and in your face, in fact its quite subtle. but sounds absolutely lovely. my pipe's got a 2-inch exit (haha!) but yeah i haven't even needed to cut into my bumper either, just sits underneath, tho BIG bumps are a problem. go for it i say!
