Hey Andy, welcome to the site! Does your car not have the original BBS RXIIs?
First thing I would do is get the thing lowered mate! I'd advise coilovers, as they're fully adjustable. Kits cost as low as £200:

I got these, and they're great for the money!

hey tim
well basicly wen i bought the car it come with 17 inch rims yh quite ugly and there way to big for my car and also it trains the gear box, another reason why i want to change them is because when i put people in the back of my the tires scrap against the wheel arches. i would show you but i dont know how to put a picture up on here.
oo and thanks soo helpfull this site

hey m8 im from london if you got an email or somthing i can send you a picture of them or somthing. they look ok yeah but it just slows the car down is well
Re: SOME ADVICE PLEASE :)
Personally i would go for 16" rims and lower the car around 40mm. This fills the wheel arches nicely and is not tooooo low so you can still go over speed humps!!!! Or go for some coilover lyk Tim said this way you can change the height to how u lyk it
!!!!
Good Luck

Re: SOME ADVICE PLEASE :)
Are these coilovers any good as in the ride and comfort? As i have only fitted the springs and left the shockers the same so the ride is awful. Would coilovers make much difference to the comfort of the ride? And what is the quality like on them?Tim_GTi wrote:Hey Andy, welcome to the site! Does your car not have the original BBS RXIIs?

Re: SOME ADVICE PLEASE :)
I think they're great, for the price you really can't argue. I was expecting them to be really harsh, but they're not.
Ok they do take some getting used to, but any suspension setup does.
I have only driven these and OEM suspension, so can't compare sorry!
