The way uve done it isnt bad but how is air going to get there as im sure the front grill doesnt go down that low. Also urz would only work for your model as the 1.4 75hp and GTIz i believe had the radiator in the way as shown in the pics i have posted.

Yeah you can see it through the GTi grill. Bottom corner of it. Couldn't go higher unless I squared it off like you have and i've mounted my ballast for my HID's there 8)

Ah that's spot on NFS, I really didn't think there was enough space behind there! That's where I'll mount mine then.

I was working on the car this morning and after driving in the rain last night I found a lot of water sat in the cold air feed and wet half way up. Not sure if its possible but there could be a risk of it sucking water in (dry at the filter end though) and the water is going to cause the inside of the pipe, where the metal coil is exposed to rust. So I moving it to next to the battery or back to its original position. One bonus. Noise is back. :D

Thats the 8v engine isn't it Howard?
Does that Kit make alot of difference, got the same engine, didn't think it would make that much difference, but yeah.

Yeah 8V mate

It makes a bit of difference. Slightly more responsive, seems better in 3rd too. But not going add much BHP. Haven't had it long enough to see how it affects MPG. I'm moving my cold air feed (again!) and where its going it adds a nice noise at the higher revs when you punch it!

Yeah, thought it'd add some responsiveness.
I think i'll get some wheels and lower my car before i start doing anything else.
Cars looking smart though man, love that colour.

Here's a couple of pics of my car in the snow, around lunchtime. By 3ish the aerial was completely hidden!

Aerial looks very cute in second pic lol :P

The amount of snow would have been more impressive if it had managed to cover the original telescopic length aerials ;) haha
