Can we make....

Post by ben3486 »

a sticky full of parts numbers that people frequently ask for? like the rear aero wiper, front lupo aero wipers, red ht leads etc etc. just a thought so people wont get bored of hearing the same questions over and over.

Could be useful actually. The only thing I want to avoid is to overload the top of the page by stickying too many topics

Off the top of my head, some common enquiries are Lupo GTi front aero wipers, Audi TT pedals (plus whether it is LHD or RHD accelerator pedal), aero rear wiper (Passat estate/Polo), roof aerial seal repair kit (one sat here on my desk awaiting fitting!)... front and rear 'VW' badges?

Cheers

Surely it could go under FAQ Common modifications and advice? Just amend the title slightly.

something like "FAQ's, Part numbers and Common Modifications"

Just a thought, would help Si's Issue!

Good idea, it would be conveinient. Sometimes when people have trouble and need to solve something quick, there isn't much time to search through a million threads to get a part number. I do tend to use search 75% of the time though ;)
