new head unit

hey guys, im looking for a new head unit, so need ur help.

i have about Â£230 to spend on an mp3 head unit i would like to c sum graphics display on it too.

what do u think of:
JVC-KDLH401
PIO-DEHP7600MP

or any suggestions for different ones

Only one option for me here PIONEER. I wouldnt have it any other way

Stick in another Â£30 and you can get the Alpine CDA9812RR
Thats the black version 2 so it would look flush in the dash( relatively) and would make ur speakers sound the bizz

Disregard the fact that the Alpine is less aesthetically pleasing and remeber a full colour flash display is what you pay for with the Pioneer but you get less flashyness and more power from the Alpine. The Alpine doesn't look as glamorous but does the job good.

PIONEER - I had one in my old Golf and was fantastic compared to my old Sony which supposedly had the same power.

Ive heard Alpine are good but Pioneer one is cool, I had the 7500 one which played mp3's

Well in this case, Alpine and Pioneer are equal imo. Maybe, yes, Alpine is a bit better as it seems to have less flashy things. The problem with new Pioneer head units is, that everything has to blink and flash and i hate that. Best headunits that i know, are old school Pioneers such as DEH 835 and DEX 88/99.
In Alpines case, you pay about 20-30% of the price just for the name. Sony units i would not touch as they seem to sound a bit weird.
Also Blaubunkt has become extremely popular.
