more mouth modifications today...

Post by dub envy »

Impacted wisdom tooth.

oh joy.

one hour of surgery. It's going to involve cutting the top of my tooth off, then removing some jaw bone so that the roots can be taken out.

11am.

cant wait.

my teeth are in pretty good health.

I have had a s**t load of work done to my front tooth lately cos it was going black. I did some daredevil stunt riding when I was a littlun and nearly knocked my front teeth out. So they are well and truely dead and the bleach had worn out so needed it doing again. I needed 3 fillings last month cos I aint been to the dentists for 3 years, and when I was there I mentioned my wisdom tooth, and he looked a bit concerned about the angle it was growing at (like straight forward) and said I needed it out.

oh yeah... this is only going to cost me £180 ontop of the near on £300 I've spent there in the last 2 months........

on top of this I have to pay for tyres, polishing, suspension, entry tickets, camping gear.........................

fun times.

yeah.... thanks... thanks alot. :? what I really needed to hear.

my mate last night was telling me about someone he knew who got massive bruises on his cheek bones and up the side of his face from having a wisdom tooth out.

my girl said she's gonna bring me some baby food round later.....

all very encouraging stuff.

Haha

Had my wisdom tooth taken out, took 15 minutes of pulling and he cracked bits of my adjacent teeth off as well. That's 15 minutes of hard working, loud grunting and shouting pulling.

It beats having the gums cut open though...

As long as it can be eaten through a straw - that'll be fine - I had all of mine removed many years ago in one session (hospital overnight) it's the only time I've ever enjoyed a McD thick shake - nice and cold and easily sucked in via a straw

An X-ray showed that i dont even have wisdom teeth :D :D
dont worry the blood doesn't spew Scary Movie style, its more runny like a nose bleed but you have it sucked out through that sucksion hose thing and if your lucky you might have a fit dental nurse there watch you suffer. She will feel sorry and take you out for a drink after

well i hope its gone/going ok, depending on how long its taking :s
i've had a few probs with my teeth over the years, having a brace fitted for 4 years and having 4 teeth out to make way for my wisdom teeth being the worst
