How much is a new coolent bottle for my polo gti?

Mine is well mankey now i been meaning to change it for a while??? How much r they from vw? is it a strait swap??

I would try getting one from a breaker first. Much cheaper!

just make sure it's in better condition than yours

Straight swap, get one from GSF think they were about £15 last time i bought one, cant remember exactly, was a few year ago lol

Take the tank off the polo

Half fill with boiling water...half fill with vinegar.... let it stand for a day or two with the lid on... Give it an occasional shake up...

After that... Whop it in the dishwasher upsideown on the glass shelf at the top and run the washer a couple of times..


Provided the plastic wasnt damaged when you took it out of the car, the tank will now be as good as new :) Used that method on both of my kit car header tanks...

Should be.... Just dont bugger up the hose clips unless you want to replace them :roll:

Looks like you will have to do it the old fashioned way... with a sponge and some elbow greece...sorry :lol:

Check u out lol, Viniger it is! Or i may try some funky chemicals at work like watered down thinners or summin n leave it in the wash tank at work, didnt think of cleaning it!

What is the crappy stuff inside it neways just stale water markings or summin???
